The 2019 Parks & Leisure Conference (#PLA2019) will bring together inspiring, interesting and stimulating speakers together with curious audiences who want to learn. #PLA2019 will focus on the importance of linking parks, open spaces and facilities to our health, wellbeing and sporting performance and will address the fundamental need for good policy, planning and provision of parks, open spaces and facilities.

Who Attends

We hold a national conference each year attracting delegates from around the country. Over the past 3 years we have averaged 500 attendees:

  • 80% of delegates were employed in local government
  • 10% in private enterprise
  • 10% in state government

Located next to plenary and opposite registration, all catering will be held in the exhibition area.
