As Managing Director of SPORTENG, Jarrod blends his Civil Engineering profession with his extensive knowledge for the development of sport and recreation facilities to ensure client and stakeholder's requirements are met within budget and program.

Jarrod specialises in the planning and development of sport and recreation facilities. These facilities include athletics running tracks, hockey pitches, football grounds (all codes), tennis courts and general purpose facilities. Jarrod's aptitude is based on extensive knowledge of specialist engineering applications and a detailed understanding of athlete and facility/venue owner requirements.

Jarrod's knowledge of the planning, design and construction of sports and recreation facilities has seen him work on most of the major stadia projects throughout Australia in recent years. Having worked closely with architects and stadium/facility operators, Jarrod has developed a strong understanding on the operational and maintenance requirements for sport facilities.

Outdoor facilities can no longer cater just for formal sports; designs are having to also include informal sports. Outdoor facilities need to be flexible to allow the same space to be used for one sport/recreational use one day and another the next.
