Byron Seef

Director of Corporate Development, Biba

Byron joined Biba in 2017 and immediately led key initiatives with some of the world's largest family friendly entertainment brands (Teletubbies, Hotel Transylvania), who were looking for new ways to connect with kids and healthy play. As part of the core management team, he has helped drive the growth of Biba's smart playground network from a few hundred sites to thousands of new playgrounds in countries around the world, resulting in the company being named one of the world's Most Innovative Companies by acclaimed Silicon Valley magazine Fast Company. Even prior to joining Biba, Byron's career was about helping make people more healthy and active as a consultant and project manager for one of Canada's leading sports management agencies.

Your data and you: what you DON'T know about local parks and playgrounds

Drawing on Biba's network of 4500 smart playground sites worldwide, this talk will discuss the data and demographics illuminating new trends in play for the smartphone generation, and how we can turn screen time into healthy outdoor fun.
