Angie Peresso

Angie Peresso has over 12 years' experience working in local government. Working at Australia's fastest growing municipality her team supports over 70 active recreation reserves across the city, with around 180 sporting clubs, 123 play fields, 89 sports pavilions and 28 community facilities. Angie manages a range of sport and community projects and oversees Casey Fields, a 76-hectare site and premier outdoor sports facility in Melbourne's South East. Angie has created and implemented policies and strategies including the Active Recreation Reserves Allocation and Maintenance Policy and oversees contemporary sports development initiatives.



Callum Pattie

Manager Active Communities, Victoria.

Callum Pattie, Manager Active Communities, has over 13 years' experience as a local government leader. Callum is passionate about delivering infrastructure, programs and services that provide community connections and positive health and wellbeing outcomes. Callum has an extensive history of working in community development, recreation and community facilities, currently leading a dynamic and energetic Department with over 85 staff and a portfolio that includes community, sport and leisure facilities, major events, tourism destinations, community development and grants, Casey Fields, libraries, and two large Aquatic and Stadia contracts.

The City of Casey is one of Australia's fastest growing municipalities, with more than 340,000 residents from over 150 different cultural backgrounds. Sound policy, planning and strategic partnerships are critically important to providing opportunities for residents to participate in sport and leisure across our growing municipality. Providing for community sport, elite sport and everything in between, we will showcase 3 football (soccer) projects; Stage 1 of the Regional Football (soccer) Precinct at Casey Fields; a district level greenfield site at Barton Recreation Reserve; and a local level at Lawson Poole Recreation Reserve.
